Earlier this month, Karel Bredenhorst (cellist) and I gave a short tour of concerts in Switzerland and Italy, performing twice in this wonderful salon as part of the Musica nel Mendrisiotto series.

There is a very special vibe in this room, not least because of the presence of an exquisite Steinway, which belonged to Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, who lived for the final years of his life in nearby Lugano. I hope our playing lived up to his very exacting expectations!
