Thank you so much to everyone who attended our first online music event for Conway Hall Sunday Concerts last night! Over 140 people booked tickets, and many people gave so generously to our appeal.

The evening began with an excellent talk on Bach's Cello Suites by Robert Hugill (the planned recital of the complete set by Robert Max will be rescheduled next season) - Robert's handout can be downloaded here.

We continued with a wonderful recital by Maria Canyigueral, of works by Bach, Mompou and Beethoven.

Not only did Robert and Maria provide an entertaining evening for all those present, but there was a palpable feeling of warmth coming from everyone there. About the closest thing to the warmth one might feel when actually performing on the stage at Conway Hall as possible!

We're already planning another event for next month, and hope to be able to announce more about this soon.
