British Piano Concertos, Volume 2

Volume 2 of my British Piano Concertos series with Lyrita is out today, with three big scores that dropped out of sight soon after their premieres: Gordon Jacob's Second Concerto, which Edith Vogel played at the 1957 Proms; Edmund Rubbra's Concerto Op. 30; and John Addison's Variations for piano and orchestra. I recorded them with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff, with Stephen Bell and George Vass conducting.
